FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT

Empowering women is not only a matter of social justice but also a catalyst for positive change within families and communities. Our Livelihood Generation initiatives are designed to equip these marginalized women with the necessary skills, resources, and support to become financially independent and self-reliant. We provide comprehensive vocational training programs tailored to local opportunities and market demands, such as livestock rearing, sustainable farming practices, and entrepreneurship development.

Furthermore, we facilitate the formation of self-help groups, where women can collectively save, access microfinance services, and support one another in their entrepreneurial endeavors. These groups serve as platforms for knowledge sharing, confidence-building, and fostering a spirit of solidarity and empowerment.

At present, there are 20 self-management groups which already has 421 members. Together, they learn to save and make the money of the mutual aid group more fruitful. This money is given according to the emergency and needs of the members (starting a new business, medical treatment for family members, child education).

Our goal is to enable sustainable incomes leading to economic upliftment enabling Dalit families to break the cycle of extreme poverty.
