​20 Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) (5 in Ward No. 7 and 15 in Ward No. 12) established

The "Pipaltar Mother’s Group" in Ward No. 12 has achieved the highest saving amount, accumulating up to NPR 39,960
WSHG members trained in kitchen gardening have successfully harvested cash crops, used for home consumption, while some are sold in schools and local markets.
A member of the "Battar Mother’s Group," earned NPR 35,000 by selling seasonal vegetables in schools and local markets.
The HoN team held meetings with parents to review the teaching environment, tuition quality, and school performance. Parents are satisfied and committed to regular follow-ups to maintain and improve education quality.

Children & Classrooms
400 regular students are attending tuition classes across six targeted schools.
All students attending tuition classes have shown significant improvement, securing good results in exams conducted by their respective schools.
HoN provides regular training session for all six tuition teachers to encourage, motivate, and update their knowledge and skills in child-friendly teaching techniques.
We are providing mid-day meals for 500 children.
Dhotar, Panchakanya, and Indrawati Basic Schools have established kitchen gardens, planting various seasonal vegetables and flowers.
The vegetables grown are used for the Mid-Day Meal program.
HoN organized a two-day training on Child-Friendly Schools and teaching techniques for Headmasters, Assistant Headmasters, Tuition Teachers, and HoN field staff.

Schools as Anchors
Dhotar Basic School has established two child-friendly classrooms, and Panchakanya Basic School has converted all classrooms to child-friendly spaces. Indrawati Basic School has improved its office and classroom setups.
HoN organizes regular meetings with School Management Committee Chairpersons, Headmasters, school teams, tuition teachers, and staff to share best practices, plan for student enrolment and retention, and address issues.
HoN provides support and prizes like pens and geometry boxes for extracurricular activities, motivating children to participate and excel in essay writing, dance competitions, and quiz contests.
